Levain Knock Off Cookies

Ingredients:

2 Cups All Purpose Flour

1 & 1/4 Cups Cake Flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

2 sticks cold butter (cubed)

2/3 Cup Light Brown Sugar

2/3 Cup Granulated Sugar

2 Large Eggs (beaten)

2 Cups Chocolate Chips

(Can substitute peanut butter chips, sprinkles, Oreo pieces, Reese’s Crumbles)

Instructions:

In a bowl whisk together flour, cake flour, baking powder, baking powder, & salt. In a separate bowl using your kitchen aid or hand mixer cream butter. Add in sugars to creamed butter. Add in flour mixture (cake flour, all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt). Add in eggs so dough forms into smooth texture. Add chocolate chips or any other mix in’s (peanut butter chips, sprinkles, Oreo pieces, or Reese’s crumbles).

Roll into large tennis shape round balls and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Sprinkle sea salt over tops of dough balls. Place baking sheets in freezer for 1 hour & half.

Preheat oven to 375 Degrees, place 1 tray at a time in oven. Underneath your cookie dough tray place an empty baking sheet upside down so trays are stacked on each other. Bake for 26 minutes until edges are golden brown. Bake remaining trays one at a time.

Ready to eat! Also can warm in the microwave the next day!
