4 Tablespoons Sugar

1/2 Stick of Butter

1 Egg (Beat)

1/4 Cup Milk

For Cookie Filling:

1 Tablespoon Cinnamon

4 Tablespoons Sugar

1 Can of Solo Cherry Pie Filling

1 Can of Solo Apricot Pie Filling

*Can Substitute any other flavor of Pie Filling, Jam or Preserves

1 small Package of Chopped Walnuts

instructions:

Mix dry ingredients for cookie dough together in a medium size bowl. add butter cut up into pieces and milk into the dry mixture. start mixing and shape dough into a ball. it should be FORM-ABLE & soft. If it is dry add in a little more milk or butter to help soften and bring together. place dough on a piece of parchment or wax paper & wrap around the entire ball of dough. wrap with a dish towel and place in the fridge for 2 hours.

If you chill dough in the fridge for the night remove the dough 30 minutes before starting to work with again to soften. preheat oven to 350 degree’s. sprinkle flour on a clean flat counter surface and unwrap dough and place on counter. cut dough into 4 pieces. use rolling pin or a drinking glass to roll out 1 piece of dough at a time. when rolling make sure dough is an inch thick and can still be picked up from the counter. take a brush and brush melted butter across rolled out dough like you are coating a pizza with sauce. then sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over dough. then cut into 8 triangles pieces like you are cutting a pizza. take a 1/4 spoonful of pie filling and place at the wider side of the dough. then roll into a crescent shape so that dough rolls over the pie filling. then place on a cookie sheet and alternate between different pie fillings and walnut mixture & continue until all dough is used. then brush a little more melted butter on top of cookies and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. bake for 10-15 minutes.

once cookies have been removed from the oven and cool sprinkle with powder sugar on top and place in a plastic seal tight container to store or serve directly on a platter.
