Ellyn’s Noodle Kugel Casserole

Ingredients:

Base:

8-12 Egg Noodles (Cooked)

6 Eggs

1 Stick of Butter (Melted)

1 Cup Sour Cream

16 oz Cottage Cheese

1 Cup Sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

4 oz Cream Cheese (Softened)

Topping:

2 Cups of Graham Cracker Crumbs

1 Cup of Brown Sugar

1 Stick of Butter (Melted)

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degree’s and grease a 9 x 13 casserole or pyrex dish. boil egg noodles based on the package instructions. while noodles are cooking crack 6 eggs and whisk together in an extra large mixing bowl. add in sour cream, cottage cheese, and melted butter. stir together. drain noodles & dump into the extra large mixing bowl. add in sugar, vanilla, and cream cheese and mix together so mixture is evenly coated. pour into the casserole dish.

in a separate bowl mix together graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and brown sugar until the mixture forms crumbles. sprinkle on top of the noodle casserole. evenly coat the graham cracker mixture so it spreads over the entire casserole.

bake for an hour at 350 degree’s!
