Deconstructed Steak Rice Bowl

Ingredients:

Grilled Skirt Steak (1 Piece- Chopped)

1/3 Cup White Jasmine Rice (Uncooked)

3-4 Romaine Lettuce Leaves (Washed & Chopped)

1/2 Tomato

1/2 Can of Sliced Black Olives (Drained)

1/2 Avocado (Sliced)

Handful of Shredded Cheddar Cheese

1/2 of a Lime

Kosher Salt & Grounded Pepper

Olive Oil

Instructions:

Measure 1/3 Cup Dried Rice & 2/3 Cups water and dump into a small pot. bring to medium to high heat and once it starts boiling reduce to low heat, cover the pot, and cook for 10 minutes. while rice is cooking season skirt steak with kosher salt & ground Pepper on both sides of the meat. Heat another Medium Pan on the Stove to medium heat. drizzle olive oil in the pan and add in steak. cook for 2-3 minutes on each side and cover with a lid while cooking. chop romaine lettuce, tomato, & avocado.

Once the rice & steak are complete, add rice to the plate, then lettuce, tomato, black olives, avocado, shredded cheese, skirt steak. season rice with lime juice, kosher salt, and ground pepper. squeeze lime juice over salad as well.
