Sandy’s Sugar Cookies

Ingredients:

2 Sticks of Butter (Softened)

1/2 Cup & 1 1/2 Tablespoons Sugar

1 3/4 Cups All Purpose Flour

1 Teaspoon Vanilla

*Sugar for rolling

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Cream butter and sugar using a mix master or hand mixer. Add in flour (1/2 at a time). Add in vanilla and mix until well blended. Roll dough into small balls then roll them into sugar. Place on cookie sheet (non-stick) and flatten using a spatula. Press down on spatula to flatten cookie to the width in the picture above. (They won’t spread much in the oven). Sprinkle sugar on top.

Bake for 17-20 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
