German Pancake in a Skillet

Ingredients:

1 Cup All Purpose Flour

4 Eggs

4 Tablespoons Butter (Melted)

2 Tablespoons Butter (Non Melted)

1 Cup Whole or Skim Milk

1/2 Teaspoon Kosher Salt

Powder Sugar (For Topping)

1/2 Lemon (Cut into Wedges)

Fruit or Syrup to compliment the dish

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 475 degree’s. in a blender add milk, eggs, 4 tablespoons of melted butter, salt, and flour. blend until smooth. or use a hand mixer or kitchen aid to mix all ingredients in a medium bowl together. make sure the mixture is very smooth. heat cast iron skillet on the stove to medium heat and place another 2 tablespoons of butter in the skillet. pour mixture into the skillet and transfer to the oven.

bake for 17-18 minutes until golden brown and the pancake puffs up. once cooled slightly serve with lemons & powder sugar, fruit, and syrup!
